In other news, as one of you did notice (whoever it is, thanks ♥ … unless you randomly clicked it because you didn’t know what it was), I put up a webclap link at the side yesterday. *points to the link at the right column* Unfortunately it’s nothing fancy, because I suck at trying to figure out Japanese. 8D Maybe one day when I feel like accidentally giving myself claps, I’ll mess around with it more.

What’s webclap, now… uh. It’s pretty common with Japanese fanart sites (and is also sometimes known as the “pati-pati system” (”pati-pati” as the sound for clapping)). It’s for… when you visit a site, and like its contents, but don’t want to comment (for whatever reason: you don’t know the webmaster/mistress, are shy, are lazy, or don’t speak the same language, etc.) and yet want to tell the webmaster/mistress that you like what you see, you click on it. E-applause, that sort of thing. The webmaster/mistress can check to see the number of times it was clicked, and in this way, know that people like what they’re seeing. At the same time, it’s an easy and non-intimidating way for visitors to show their appreciation. It’s up to you how many claps you want to give, as and when. You can leave a short comment too (though you don’t need to).

It seems like I got lazier after getting a tablet. Hmmmn. It’s not that I haven’t been drawing, but I’ve been drawing a lot of trash. *points up* And I’m trying to decide to whether to keep the pressure sensitivity on or not, since it seems like I have to press very hard when I’m have it on (the click sensitivity is at its lightest already).*been installing… and uninstalling… ahahaha. D: They should just have a disabler ticky box.* Guess I’ll leave it on, though, since if I don’t want pressure sensitivity I could go to some oekaki board or something. Not sure how it’ll be like when I colour and stuff, though.

… I’ll do something better soon. And uh. Yeah~~!

Ura filter update!

… I bet everyone’s gone once again. XD;; Uhm, pardon me for not really remembering to update this? I have more atrocious stuff to put up this time. Bear with me.

First off, shoujo requests are basically ganguro!Sanada (TeniPuri) and Temari!Gaara (NARUTO). If anyone’s actually curious, comment and I’ll explain the… uh… reasons behind these pictures.

… And just one more. CFUD spawns the best OTPs ever, and my personal favourite is Heine (Gundam Seed Destiny)/ Ishida (BLEACH). Yeah, you read that right. Link only because the image is too big and I’m lazy to resize it.

Eh, what else? Eatpoo’s Guide for Art Noobs. It has tips for drawing, and even though it says it’s for noobs, it’s pretty helpful for people who aren’t satisfied with their art and drawing style and stuff like that. Loads of people tend to forget their basics (including myself). And also, it’s really tough to learn from your basic stuff, because most of the time people just want to come up with something pleasing even if they aren’t ready for it. Hell, I myself know that I’m not ready for loads of things, but I just try them out anyway. XD;;

I really need to take note of light, for example. Gods, my colouring suck. I gotta try out shading with the complimentary colours (I’m rereading EatPoo’s thing again).

It’s all part of learning, really. But if you want to be good, you have be good at your basics, before going on to more ambitous things. *stabs anatomy* Since I’ve never taken proper art classes before Design school (I don’t consider Sec 1 and 2 Art as proper lessons), I’m hoping to force myself back to my basics. Yeah, I hate drawing buildings. Too bad, gotta learn it. It’s tough when you realize that you can’t draw a lot of things. Practice, practice, practice. :/ One fine day you’d get there.

… No, actually not. I’ve seem to have lost touch with y’know, regularly drawing, though. *cough* All I’ve done within the past week? Doodling a couple of original character designs and inking in the 2882 picture within the past 2 days. Ohohoho I’m getting somewhere with it!111!one. And then I don’t like the original character stuffs that I did, and I’m too lazy to scan in the inked version. (Also because the laptop battery has gone inane and weird, so I don’t dare to shift it around.)

I’ll, uh, try to update something decent sometime soon. …….. no promises though, whoops. Bug me and I may hurry up or get annoyed. 8D *waves*
