Dead? Dead?? DEAD??!!

… No, actually not. I’ve seem to have lost touch with y’know, regularly drawing, though. *cough* All I’ve done within the past week? Doodling a couple of original character designs and inking in the 2882 picture within the past 2 days. Ohohoho I’m getting somewhere with it!111!one. And then I don’t like the original character stuffs that I did, and I’m too lazy to scan in the inked version. (Also because the laptop battery has gone inane and weird, so I don’t dare to shift it around.)

I’ll, uh, try to update something decent sometime soon. …….. no promises though, whoops. Bug me and I may hurry up or get annoyed. 8D *waves*

Wanted to put this up yesterday, but ended up out and busy.

Xinling viewing Japanese fanartist sites = very messed up style. Mostly because all the art styles are so great in their own ways that I want to learn from them. Anyway, this was an attempt to draw in a completely different way, and I kinda like how it turned out actually. Nia and Mero from Death Note. From neck down, though, you can see that I completely went back to my normal way of drawing. Har har har. Mero’s left eye is a little too big. Whoops. Didn’t notice that when I’d just finished drawing.

Nia’s a 2nd attempt. I drew a girlier version at first (not purposely though).

I kind of want to colour this.

School’s starting soon (TOMORROW (orientation anyway)) and I’m kind of nervous about how it’d be like, and I don’t know whether I’m going to have the time to doodle, scan and post up, ectetra.

I wasn’t about to put this up, actually, because I didn’t like the way it turned out, and I can spot just about a million mistakes in it, but oh well. I like the idea though, it’s cute. XD;;; Niou and Yagyuu from Prince of Tennis. It’s for a friend (because this is the only way I can make myself do something: when I’m doing it for someone else), and I’ve shown her this and she says she likes it (yey), so I’d be doing corrections + inking and blah blah. If I can get it to look right, that is.

Hahahaha, I’d asked my friend to write me a Mitani/Tsutsui (HikaGo)(plz don’t kill me Yacchuan) fic on a whim. The last time I asked about it, she said that she’s at 1000+ words. *dies* I thought she’d be writing me a drabble or something, but nooo… I felt bad, so I asked her to request something (even though I wonder why the hell she’d want something from me; she’s a much better artist than myself). I owe her a birthday present, anyway T_T;;;

2 things related to this post:

- 2882. I don’t mind Niou seme or uke, and same goes for Yagyuu, so I like them switchable. Both would make good semes, and cute ukes. O brain…

- Mitani/Tsutsui. Like I said, this was on a whim. I like Kaga/Tsutsui, but I wanted something different, so Mitani it was. Mitani/Tsutsui is cute too… T_T;;; I think Mitani’s my favourite HikaGo character. [/random]

I recently (finally) got to read volume 15? 16? of Furuba (with Akito on the cover. Guh why are you so forgetful, brain?). Thanks Steffi, even though you’re really unlikely to read this. 8D Uh, anyway, if you look not very carefully, the above picture might actually vaguely resemble Yuki. But then again the ears sort of give it away? Added those in on an impulse, not because I thought people wouldn’t recognize Yuki. He looks ridiculous with them on.

Surprisingly, yeah, I prefer Yuki to Kyou. I don’t know why.

… Sasuke from Naruto. … I don’t like Sasuke. … … I have, however, been looking at Japanese fanartist sites of Sasuke. T___T They have such pretty art and they make Sasuke look so cute and asdfklasdjflabsdkfdfa T^T My shading sucks. 8D I don’t know what I was doing.

I want to put Sasugay in a skirt. (My cousin live in Australia so while I was in Malaysia, they kept saying “Sasuke” and because of their accents, it sounded like”Sasugay” to me, so, yeah.)

No art yesterday because I didn’t know what to draw. I seem to need an image in my mind before I draw it, and most of the time I end up altering the picture in my mind rather than drawing what I wanted to, but as long as what comes out looks okay, I’m fine with it.

… Er, right, picture.

Ruka-pyon from Gakuen Alice. Drawing Ruka-pyon in drag is much fun, but this is actually a normal picture! And I attempted some sort of background. O wow. And that’s a yucky hand, and omg RABBIT T___T;;; I’m so lousy at rabbits. Their legs especially, because there’re hardly any references I can get from the manga because most of the time Ruka’s carrying Usakin and his arms cover up the rabbit’s legs.

Anyway, the rabbit was supposed to be sitting down, but I couldn’t get his legs to look right, so I made him sort of stand and lean on a rock. *lame* The tree (and tree root) looks funny.

Something that I wanted to try out after reading Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey and Clover). Those faces are disturbingly cute. <3 Anyway, I’m still waiting for some subbing group to pick up this series. =_=; *watches the animesuki feed on LJ*

Azuma from Yakitate!! Japan. Recently picked up this title, and I love this guy for wearing his heart on his sleeve. He’s so innocently happy. And he’s not even arrogant; just very confident of himself. … Which makes him a very unrealistic character, but what the hell, he’s adorable. :D;; *puts on a hairband so that lolz i can b lyk heem* Hahahaha, give me a Pantasia uniform, someone T_T;;;

And I think everyone can tell when I don’t know what to draw.
