I don’t think I mention it much, but I do like Pokemon. I think Pokemon designs are pretty amazing– maaan how many pokemon are there currently? I haven’t kept up with it (I’m one of those who only know the first 151, and find the next 100 vaguely familiar but not really, and are completely clueless about the rest), but I like looking at Pokemon designs. And there’s this project on dA that involves Gijinka pokemon, and gijinka to me? IS FASCINATING I like seeing human interpretations of animal-like characters. 8D

Well so anyway. I randomly picked Pokemon and tried it myself. No real idea of how popular/useful these Pokemon are!

Yeah, these are just random attempts at it :< It’s strange because I initially thought my Hoothoot would be a male, while Banette would be a female, but both changed gender while I was drawing them.

Randomly, on gijinka things… I’d have done Arashi no Yoru Ni stuff if the movie didn’t like. Slay me.

Aaaaugh doodling out original things is surprisingly fun… and addictive. It helps me to destress~ I have a whole bunch of random original characters and I don’t do anything with them because they don’t seem to have distinctive enough personalities, which makes me sad (<-exaggeration). Might actually have them to interact with each other to maybe develop them.

I need to continue doing my homework, homg.

Chibis done on my homework. uh. Caesar and Hugo. No reference whatsoever, and I don’t think I’ve drawn Hugo enough to remember exactly how the patterns on his clothes go. Oh well!

Oh, and Daran. Wow he’s appeared twice. >_>

I doodled quite a bit today. And then I’m lazy to separate my sketches, so here we go.

Bunch of sketchy original things. The guy on the left looks like Luke from Tales of the Abyss, doesn’t he. NOT ON PURPOSE. For some reason his name is Daran. We are possibly never going to see him again, but the name jumped out at me.

Bunch of Caesar (Suikoden III) sketches. Yeah, Caesar’s probably my favourite character so far– go go smart slackers. And his hair is fun to draw 8Db Yeahhhhh. Pairing of choice is Hugo/Caesar, thanks to a certain RP. Hahahahahahahahahaha OTL

I think ultimately I just like drawing. For fun. To see how this colour works with this and that and all, and proceeding and trying out new things as I feel like it while working around familiar ground, instead of just being forced to jump into something that I completely don’t know how to do.

Maaaan I wish I had the inspiration to do a full picture.

I… signed up for a p-chat board/room thing. Uhm. Yey pchat? I think the idea of pchatting is fun but never really got into it. Been in and out of a couple of them, but at that time my connection/computer couldn’t really take it and I didn’t have a tablet, so I never really did… participate. I’ve been watching waaaay too much Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. It’s addictiveeeee~~~ Here’s Frankie manga-fied. And Mac, too, but I think what I did with him sucked.

It’s been more than a week, urk. Sorry about that. School.

I just realized how random my drawings are; it’s hard for me to stay with one fandom and just keep drawing characters from that one serie. I draw from lots of things and hop from manga to cartoons to games to story books and comic books. Huh.

Here, some Houshin Engi fanart. OUT OF NOWHERE. Uh. Some back story would be that I was looking at art by someone that seemed to be heavily influenced by Fujisaki Ryu, and then suddenly went “Hey, I should do some Houshin Engi art.”.

Fugen is possibly my favourite Houshin Engi character, followed by that sleepy guy whose name I forgot. Man, I kinda wish I actually owned the Houshin Engi manga now. I seem to have a thing for characters with some sort of a Jesus complex, don’t I? Like Allen. Actually, no. It’s hard to classify exactly what sort of character I would like, because I tend to be able to find exceptions (like how I’m not particularly fond of Kira from GS/D…).

I do tend to like the smart slackers, however!
